A hybrid SoHo-loft and retro-New England tavern, this pub couples its brick-and-hardwood decor with an equally eclectic food and beer selection. Menu picks include wild mushroom dumplings with sesame-scallion chili dipping sauce, grilled lamb roast with onion risotto, hummus crostini and ginger creme brulee. With a menu offering a new American cuisine, this is a pub. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $12 to $20, and people are quite appropriate when dressed casual. Atmosphere: The place has an urban/art deco décor. The interior is enhanced by contemporary artwork, and the lighting is bright. The eatery is spacious. It is comfortable and fun and patroned by all kinds of people. Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive. More Reasons to Go: Back Bay Brewing Company is great for entertaining clients, groups and private parties. When weather permits, enjoy seating outside on the deck. Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner. There`s a Sunday brunch for $14.95 per person.
